But there’s just something extra special about getting sucked into a deranged story about killer clowns during all the orange and black-tinged Halloween spookiness of October, y’know?īut alas, as excited as I was to dive into Adam Cesare’s Clown in a Cornfield, the YA horror-slasher (with one of the most unfortunate titles in existence) juuust missed the mark. I could read them - and do already read them - all year long. How many thrillers and horror novels can I pack into one month before my brain starts leaking out of my ears?
